The Carolina Panthers 2018 schedule was revealed! And look at the... they have a home opener! The 2018 program will kick off using a Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

The Panthers won't have to wait for very long to get their first look in the NFC South, as they journey down south I-85 to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2. The Panthers also have a Thursday Night Football game this season - on the street against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. This season, the Panthers will face the four groups from AFC North and the four teams from the NFC East. Because the Panthers finished second in the NFC South last year, the final two teams on the schedule will be the Seahawks and the Lions. Upon first glance, the biggest game for the Panthers in 2018 is that Monday night event contrary to the Saints.

Here’s the NFL Schedule 2018 Week 1 in all its glory.

That is a game which could probably choose who wins the NFC South this past year. It should be a fantastic match between two very good teams.

The Panthers close the season with back-to-back divisional games, together with the Falcons in Week 16 and the Saints in Week 17. Those games will probably be important. Carolina also has a historical bye -- in Week 4 -- that is somewhat unfortunate.

The Panthers play six games against their fellow NFC South rivals, and they play eight matches against two other divisions on a turning (one from the AFC and one from the NFC). The final two matches are reserved for another two NFC teams who finished in the exact same place as the Panthers in their respective branches (this season -- NFC North and NFC West).

It seems like the Panthers will play with two prime time games till they get flexed later in this season. That is a little surprising because they made the playoffs this past year, but it's what it is. 1 advantage to this year's program is that there are no long west-coast road trips.
